Different Kind of Thankful… The Turkey Doesn’t Know!

Yesterday was Thanksgiving, but we didn't celebrate. Our turkey will have to wait until Saturday!

Driving to work this morning, I found myself thinking about my mom, my childhood, my boys, and how differently I look at family and gratitude these days.

Not every family has a picture-perfect story, and not every holiday needs to go according to plan.

Sometimes being thankful means appreciating how far you've come, understanding the past a little differently, and realizing that love doesn't need to come with expectations.

Because seriously… the turkey doesn't give a damn what day it is!
