Not getting political here, but i do think this is important. I would never express my opinion in any way as to who to vote for, as that is a personal opinion and not something to argue about. That being said though...

There should be NO excuse for anybody to not get out to vote in this Federal election... If you already know you can't make it out to vote on April 28th, you can vote over the next 4 days, Friday through Monday. Find 10 minutes over the next 4 days to get to a polling station and VOTE! You cannot complain afterwards if your party of choice is not leading the country. We should spread this word to everyone and we should help those who cannot get out to vote to do so by helping them to a polling station. Voting in this country is important and your vote DOES count.

On Saturday evening we Celebrated Kayla and David's union at The Morrisburg Legion. This was simply a reception to mark their Wedding, which took place a few weeks back in Jamaica.

The new couple arrived around 8:30pm or so and went straight into their First Dance, which tonight featured Ellie Goulding's Love Me Like You Do. From there we went straight into dancing. Throughout the evening we had a few special dances. As this was now a blended family, David took turns dancing with his Grand Daughter, his Daughter and his new step Daughter. We also played a round of the Shoe Game mid evening. Kayla and David took some time to Thank everyone at one point, and Kayla's Brother took a few minutes to Welcome David to the family.

Dancing was slow for a while, but picked up as the night went on. We shut it all down at 1pm and had a very good evening with all.

Thanks to Kayla and David for having me out to work your Celebration. Hoping everyone had a good time with the music and that I was able to meet your expectations. Best of luck to the two of you moving forward and I hope to see you guys somewhere on a dance floor in the future.

A couple of weekends off, as we prepare to meet our first grand child, an exciting time for us. The next event I have is the 2nd week of April, and I am looking forward to that one already!
