Iles de Boucherville is a beautiful spot to spend the day, relax and do an easy completely flat hike of 15km. We will meet at Quai Jacques-Cartier in the Old Port and take two river shuttles to get there. Traveling by boat is a fun experience in itself. I purchased our tickets in advance because they tend to sell out. Bring your lunch. There are plenty of picturesque spots to stop and take a lovely break.

Our amazing Montreal Museum of Fine Arts is the oldest museum in Canada. It was founded in 1860 and it's home to 47,000 art pieces! It's also one of the top 10 most-visited museums in North America.

It has 5 pavilions all connected underground. We will take a walk and explore permanent collections. Our event is going to be more like a general overview/walk to get a feel of what's where and what is available to explore. I'll have my usual printouts ready with interesting facts and explanations.

The first Sunday of the month is a free admission day. It can get pretty crowded later in the day, so let's go early. Free admission still requires a reservation and I reserved our free tickets for everyone who wants to join.

A little insight from our "How to Make Friends as an Adult" discussion salon: The Friendship Formula. It looks like this:

Friendship = Repeated Exposure + Low-Pressure Interaction + Time.

The secret is finding spaces in your life where you can see people with similar values consistently. This could mean hitting the gym at the same time every week, volunteering at a community garden, or taking recurring arts and crafts classes.

The Montreal Women's Club is designed to be exactly this kind of space. You’ll naturally start seeing familiar faces when you attend our events regularly. So many of the close-knit friend circles have formed right here, simply because people chose to keep showing up.
