UP BEAT is a fantastic evening of fashion-theatre you won’t soon forget — but what it helps make possible is a community and support system that exists all year round.

Funds raised by UP BEAT are essential to sustaining the work of UP House Montreal, a community center dedicated to eliminating social isolation and rebuilding the confidence, purpose, and sense of belonging for adults living with long-term mental health challenges. A "Clubhouse", UP House follows an evidence-based model, is part of a network of 320 clubhouses worldwide, and is the only one in Québec. Clubhouses create opportunities for members to learn or practice skills to support their personal goals and assist with accessing services such as housing, food banks, health care, and employment.

UPBEAT 2025 directly supports the ongoing work of UP House, its programs, and its initiatives.

UP House is a community in Montreal dedicated to eliminating social isolation and rebuilding confidence, purpose, and a sense of community for adults facing mental health challenges.
We boast a membership of 900 strong, with over 250 active members annually. UP House is part of an international network of over 350 Clubhouses, all based on a successful, evidence-based model of psychosocial rehabilitation.
