Join us in celebrating the launch of Baked Pears, a chapbook by Sophia Cirignano, published—and handmade—by Baseline Press. You are welcome to bring a dish or a snack to contribute to the potluck table. No outside alcohol is allowed; there will be a cash bar for beverages. We look forward to sharing a night of food for thought, belly, and soul!

OLIVE ANDREWS a writer, textile artist, and library worker living in Tiohtià:ke (Montréal). Her poetry, reviews, and articles have been published in The Malahat Review, Canthius, Arc Poetry Magazine, PRISM international, CV2, and elsewhere. Her freelance project, “is this a poem?” marries her poetic and textile practices.
SOPHIA CIRIGNANO is a poet and papermaker from Vermont, based in Tiohtià:ke/Montreal. She works at the intersection of poetry and paper, wherein poems can be fibrous objects, and paper can express poetic thought. Her poems have appeared in Headlight Anthology, Yolk Literary Journal, Columbia Journal, and elsewhere. Baked Pears, with Baseline Press, is her debut chapbook.
ARIS KESHAV is a Cégep teacher and gossip enthusiast. His poetry is forthcoming in the Best New Poets 2026 anthology, and has appeared in Smartish Pace, CV2, The Malahat Review, The New Quarterly, and two chapbooks. He recently graduated from Concordia with an MA in Creative Writing.
LAURA MOTA-JUANG is a Taiwanese-Brazilian multimedia artist from São Paulo and based in Tiohtiá:ke/Montreal. She paints playful creatures on thrifted garments at Atelier No Fiction Projects, edits poetry at Ahoy! magazine and organizes events for carte blanche magazine.
MISHA SOLOMON is a homosexual poet in and of Tiohtià:ke/Montréal. His work has appeared in journals across Canada and has been anthologized in Best Canadian Poetry 2024, 2026, and 2027 (Biblioasis) and in On Occasion: Poems for the People (Coach House). He is the author of three chapbooks and his full-length debut, My Great-Grandfather Danced Ballet, was released by Brick Books this spring.
