✨LE GRAND BAL TANGO - MERCI ✨
Dans Gabriële, j’ai lu cette pensée qui m’a profondément touchée :
« Dans la musique, chaque son isolé n’est rien par lui-même et ne produit son effet que par son rapport avec d’autres sons… »
Et il en est de même des couleurs.
Cette pensée exprime merveilleusement ce que fut, pour moi, cette édition du Grand Bal Tango.
J’ai imaginé et organisé cette soirée avec beaucoup de cœur, mais je n’aurais jamais pu lui donner vie seule. Chacun de vous y a apporté sa propre note, sa couleur et son énergie.
Merci du fond du cœur à mon équipe : Lyse Marceau, Narlay Denis, Nathalie Grosshenny et Jay Shapransky, ainsi qu’à tous les bénévoles qui ont généreusement prêté main-forte au cours de la soirée.
Merci également à toutes les personnes qui ont contribué à la promotion du Grand Bal, qui ont partagé nos publications, parlé de l’événement autour d’elles ou m’ont soutenue de quelque façon que ce soit.
Merci à Mariana Dragone et Marika Landry; à nos DJ, Alexis Boileau et Nicolas Lavoie; à Nicolas pour ses magnifiques projets vidéo; et à Blanche-Photographe-Montreal pour son regard sensible et les précieux souvenirs qu’elle a su capter.
Merci à Caroline Potvin de Tango Sublime et à Oksana Volobuieva de Tango Dress, qui étaient présentes comme exposantes et qui ont ajouté une touche d’élégance supplémentaire à notre soirée.
Et surtout, merci à vous tous qui avez choisi de passer cette soirée avec nous - que vous soyez venus de Montréal, d’ailleurs au Québec, de l’Ontario, des États-Unis ou d’encore plus loin.
Votre présence n’était pas simplement celle d’un public. Vous faisiez partie intégrante de la soirée. Par vos sourires, vos abrazos, vos danses, votre enthousiasme et votre chaleur, vous avez donné au Grand Bal son ambiance, sa beauté et son âme.
Seul, chaque son demeure incomplet. Ensemble, nous avons créé une harmonie. Seule, chaque couleur raconte une petite histoire. Ensemble, nous avons composé un tableau que je garderai longtemps dans mon cœur.

In Gabriële, I came across a beautiful thought: in music, an isolated sound means little on its own; it creates its effect through its relationship with other sounds. The same is true of colours.
That thought expresses perfectly what this edition of the Grand Bal Tango meant to me.
I imagined and organized this evening with all my heart, but I could never have brought it to life alone. Each of you contributed your own note, colour and energy.
My heartfelt thanks to my team: Lyse Marceau, Narlay Denis, Nathalie Grosshenny and Jay Shapransky, as well as all the volunteers who so generously lent a hand throughout the evening.
Thank you as well to everyone who helped promote the Grand Bal, shared our posts, spoke about the event or supported me in any way.
Thank you to Mariana Dragone and Marika Landry; to our DJs, Alexis Boileau and Nicolas Lavoie; to Nicolas for sharing his wonderful video projects; and to Blanche for her sensitive eye and for capturing these precious memories.
Thank you to Caroline Potvin of Tango Sublime and Oksana Volobuieva of Tango Dress, who joined us as vendors and added another beautiful touch of elegance to the evening.
And above all, thank you to every person who chose to spend the evening with us, whether you came from Montréal, elsewhere in Québec, Ontario, the United States, or even farther away.
You were not simply an audience attending the event. You were an essential part of it. Through your smiles, your embraces, your dancing, your enthusiasm and your warmth, you gave the Grand Bal its atmosphere, beauty, and soul.
Alone, each sound is incomplete. Together, we created harmony. Alone, each colour tells a small story. Together, we created a picture that I will carry in my heart for a very long time.
