Elevated high above the city, the tower overlooked downtown Montreal and the Jacques Villeneuve race track, setting the stage for an unforgettable night.

On November 7th the team had the privilege of helping the Hospital Foundation bring their 88th Gala Ball to life for our 9th year.

It is an event that we are so proud to be able to produce with the collaboration of some of the absolute best event professionals in Montreal. The event, like the hospital is never the same twice. It is continuously changing, reinventing itself, growing, improving; all based on the solid foundation of the working relationships between our event partners and their incredibly hard working teams.

We’re incredibly honoured to share that Vocation Events has been awarded Best High Profile Non-Profit Event in Canada (2024) by the Canadian Special Events Awards.

This recognition was for the beautifully curated event we had the privilege of designing and executing in celebration of St. Mary’s Hospital’s 100th anniversary — a truly monumental milestone in the hospital’s legacy of care, compassion, and community.

We take immense pride in having played a part in such a meaningful chapter of St. Mary’s history. This win isn’t just for us — it’s for St. Mary’s. For the institution that has been a pillar in Montreal for a century, and for everyone who came together to honour its impact.

And just as importantly, this moment belongs to the Montreal event community — a collective of incredibly hardworking producers, creatives, and suppliers who give so much of themselves to make events like this possible. The hours are long, the pressure is real, and the sacrifices are many — but the support, collaboration, and heart in this community are unmatched.

Throwback to the unforgettable Journee AWS event we had the privilege of planning! 🎉 Hosting 1,500 guests for a free educational seminar by AWS was no small feat, but what an incredible experience it was!

The day featured engaging fireside chats with executive speakers, delectable meals prepared by the talented team at , and amazing networking opportunities with industry decision-makers. 💼✨

When our client’s preferred venue became unavailable due to renovations, we had to think outside the box to find a creative, functional space that could accommodate such a large crowd. Enter – the perfect multi-room venue that brought energy and style to the event!

Last night the Montreal community celebrated the 100th anniversary of the St. Mary’s Hospital with over 750 guests helping to usher in the next century of care.

The event helped to raise over $1.2 million net for the hospital’s foundation and highlighted the hospital’s proud history of inclusive, whole-patient care.

We were proud to be producing this event for our 8th year alongside some of the best teams in the industry who not only make this event a success, but a pleasure to produce.

Still dreaming about these stunning florals from our last wedding. Pulled together in just a few months this beautiful cocktail dinatoire wedding had all the bells & whistles.. not to mention curated by some of the best suppliers in Montreal. We are so thankful for all the help and hands that brought this project to life for one of our very own founders . Can’t wait to share more content with you all.
