It is with shock and deep sadness that the Home Club Party has just learned of the passing of a member of its team, Gustavo Federico, the collective’s photographer. The serious illness he had been battling for several years took his life two days after his 45th birthday.
The first photographer to join the Home Club Party team in 2018, Gustavo had a talent for capturing striking and memorable images with great discernment. Born and raised in Argentina, his youth and adolescence were steeped in art and creativity, thanks in part to his mother, a fashion designer, and his father, a pianist. It was through constant learning that he would later develop his own artistic approach, particularly in photography.
A great lover of cinema and inspired by the great masters (Helmut Newton, Annie Leibovitz, Mario Testino, Richard Avedon, Irving Penn), Gustavo studied photography in Montreal, where he also produced and exhibited his work. A specialist in portraiture, fashion, and lifestyle photography, his keen eye captures the light of the present moment to create authentic and remarkable images.
All our thoughts and condolences go out to his family and close friends, whom he cherished deeply. The HCP team would like to acknowledge his professional artistic contributions throughout the years we spent together. Gustavo, my dear friend, thank you once again for your generosity, your good humor, and the quality of your work. We will miss you. Rest in peace. The Home Club Party will never forget you.
