Broke personal record yesterday - hike my tallest peak at 4800m

Not going to lie - definitely top 3 most scared I’ve ever been in my life….Climbing a rock face with no climbing experience at a very high altitude, although this peak might be ezpz to real mountaineers, I definitely faced my biggest hiking challenge. I couldn’t document all of the scary parts because my main focus was to uhh.. not die you know? Sometimes clout ain’t worth it

Have to keep reminding myself “god placed the best things in life on the other side of fear”.

There were several moments I wanted to turn back, kept trying to convince myself I couldn’t do it - but enough with that bull s**t. Dive into the crazy, learn who you really are and enjoy what life has to offer. As a result I got to see such amazing views ( although mostly In the clouds )

I hope everyone had the chance to experience all the amazing colours! Fall time in Quebec is definitely my favourite all time season and location. I wish it would last longer 🥲

The LAST HIKE OF THE SEASON! J.O.A presents Mont Chauve as our last hike of the 2022 season. Mont Chauve is a mountain/trail located in the Mont Orford region in Quebec! This hike will present some amazing trails that are very well kept, one stellar view point at the top where we will hangout, play around and enjoy the amazing fall colours. The view point will look out to some lake surrounding the area and killer rock faces. This hike will be so worth it and Im really happy I left this one for last. See you then!

Mont Grand Corbeau, a hike located in Forêt Ouareau in the metawinie region!

This park is hands down the muddiest park I’ve been to in my 5 years of exploring Quebec 😂 but in return provides amazing views, low popularity and deep lush forests. This hike is perfect for a one day trip as it’s super close to Montreal and small enough where you can explore most of the park!

AYEEEE WE DID IT!!! 1K followers!!!! This was one of our goals before the season ended and we are sooooo pumped!

1K may not be a lot relative to other instagram accounts but we don’t care. This is absolutely huge for us! this means 1000+ of you wanted to support this page and I can’t even get started on how much that means to me! I can’t believe this account was able to get such a reach in a small time🤩🤩🤩🤩

#1 - My friend and I decided to go for a weekend hike at Mont St-Hillaire. I was amazed by the tunnel of trees towering above us providing the perfect shade. It was serene and sunny, with an amazing view at the top – one of my favourite hikes of the summer!

#2 - When I see this photo it reminds me the simple things in life are the most beautiful

#3 - Went on a big hike with my wife in Canmore for our 1 year anniversary , got to enjoy a nice view with beers and sandwiches. Couldn’t ask for anything better!

#4 -Great photo of a friend which has a great memory attached to it!

#5 - Captured by the breathtakingly beautiful Canadian waterfalls on my first solo travel trip. The carefree hakuna matata state of mind didn't last long unfortunately (cause guess who left her passport and wallet in her hostel in Quebec afterwards).

#6 -I found this guy at the beach thought it was funny, grind never stops

#7 - Since my childhood, I had severe fear of heights. However, on that day, I jumped off a plane at 13000 feet, experienced the breathtaking bird's view and landed with a smile. Considering my past fear, I'm really proud of myself and that day will always remain close to my heart.

#8 .aussie -This photo was from the day I hiked the Beehives and Devils Thumb at Lake Louise. The people in the photo I met at my hostel, and we spent the week hiking together. The weather was glorious, the people were great, and the trails were beautiful. Best day of the summer!

#9 .aravind._athi this is my first summer & had a great experience. I visited Owls Head summit, Gaspesie, Toronto & Niagara. Of which I captured too many pictures & uploaded my favourite found in my Gallery. Just captured after a sunrise😍

Mont Ham was a treat!!! They even have ice cream at the base ( look at last pic) the overall hike was very doable but also provided us with a nice challenge by the end 😎

MONT GRAND CORBEAU!!! I found this hike earlier this summer but decided to leave it later in the fall! I really wanted to find a spot where we can enjoy the fall colours and have the entire park to ourselves muahahah. JOA TAKES OVER AGAIN!!!!!!

This hike is located in Foret Ouareau ( I still cannot pronounce this parks name ) in the Matawinie region! So far, this region is personally my favourite, it offers some of the cleanest parks, views and it is never really crowded! This hike is absolutely different from the previous time at this park, we will tackle MORE VIEW POINTS AND GO EVEN HIGHER!!!!!!!!! This hike is semi challenging, but very doable. Once we reach the peak, we will see Quebecs amazing fall colours and enjoy the incredible views. Along the trail, we will experience Foret Ouareau lush deep forest while watching the leafs change colours along the trail. Let me say one last thing... THIS IS A MUST! DO NOT MISS THIS ONE!
