Summer is in full bloom ! They are growing gorgeous flowers with local tender loving care and an environmental and socially responsible conscience.

Waste from the on-site chicken farm is composted for up to six months and then used as rich fertilizer for the flower fields.

Fungus is tackled with hydrogen peroxide, not harsh chemicals, making it safer for the employees and the environment.

Many farms use protective cover to give plants a head start in unpredictable spring weather that are not recyclable or reusable. La Primavera uses Biofilm. It is made of corn and costs about 10% more than it's plastic "cousin". The product is completely biodegradable and gets turned back in to the soil. It also helps keep the soil from drying out.

The result: absolutely beautiful homegrown flowers that are a real feast for the senses!
