The 2023 adult arangetram cohort Sujatha Krishnammagaru, Maitreyee Bhise & Bhoomika, stands as an inspiration to our dance community.
Their performance of the Ragamalika Jathiswaram in misrachapu tāḷam highlights not only technical mastery but the resilience required to balance life, work, and rigorous training. Their journey honors tradition while showing future dancers that it’s never too late to step into the spotlight with pride.

Reshali’s Arangetram was a dazzling display of artistry and stamina, flawlessly guided by Rajane teacher’s confident mentorship and the soulful music of a scintillating orchestra including MC Sudharshan Sir, Jayadevan Sir, Selvan Vijay, Kugenthiran Sir, and Kalyani Mam.
It was great to meet many dance gurus on this occasion as well.
Thanks to Charles Devasagayam Anna for as always being there and capturing these precious moments whether it’s an established artist or debut performer.
Balancing the demands of Grade 12 with an intensive training schedule, Reshali broke every spell with her precision and energy, lighting up the stage like a Diwali firecracker from the very first Pushpanjali to the powerful Sri Ranjani Varnam. It was a truly memorable evening that marked just the beginning of a lifelong journey in Bharatanatyam—thank you, Rajane teacher, for having me as your Chief Guest! ✨

Today, my heart is overflowing with joy as I congratulate my dear Shwetha on her engagement. 💍❤️

For 22 years, I have had the privilege of watching this beautiful soul grow from a little girl into an exceptional young woman. Her journey has been one of dedication, humility, and grace. She has excelled in her education and built a successful career, while selflessly giving her time and heart to our dance studio. She has been the backbone of so much of our administration, a patient mentor, an inspiring role model, a trusted friend to her dance family, a loving sister, and a respectful, responsible daughter.

Shwetha, you have touched so many lives with your kindness, quiet strength, and unwavering commitment. Watching you step into this new chapter is truly special, and we couldn’t be prouder of the woman you have become.
