Intention vs Implementation. We work hard at our events to ensure we provide the best experience we can for our attendees with the intent to make each event more sustainable than the last. But the gap lies between our intent and actionable items. On June 4, The Sustainable Events Forum is partnering with Toronto Climate Week | TOCW 2026 and Ted Rogers School of Management - Toronto Metropolitan University to help shrink the gap by having practical, honest, solutions-focused conversations.

We'll explore:
- What climate action in events actually looks like right now
- What's working (and what's not)
- How to move forward without perfectionism, greenwashing or overwhelming everyone involved.

The Sustainable Events Forum has partnered with Ted Rogers School of Management - Toronto Metropolitan University and Toronto Climate Week | TOCW and we’re going to get very comfortable being uncomfortable and dig into things like:

- The Actions that have measurable impact.
- How attendees can help planners make better choices.
- Why raising the floor matters, more than chasing that net zero perfection.

This is an all-ages event. There will be food, drinks, but no alcohol.

Our young people deserve more from us than tote bags and recycling bins.
