Congratulations to Erica & Jack on their beautiful wedding this evening

What an incredible way to kick off the weekend.

We are absolutely, hands down, in love with our bride Erica. From the moment we met her, she had us laughing, smiling, and completely charmed. She is the kind of person who fills a room with warmth, joy, and just the right amount of mischief. An all-around awesome gal in every sense of the word.

And Jack? Simply one of the kindest, most welcoming grooms you could hope to meet.
And the wedding party? Sweethearts. And so proud of their friends and so happy to be celebrating their wedding.

It was such a pleasure to tell their story at one of our favourite venues, surrounded by beautiful gardens, wonderful guests, and alongside a photographer who was an absolute joy to work with.

Erica and Jack, thank you for allowing us to be part of such a special chapter in your lives. We loved every minute of it.

And perhaps the biggest news of all...

A few weeks before your wedding, we’ll schedule our signature JaM Session — a dedicated one-hour meeting that is designed to prepare you for your ceremony.

It’s where questions are answered, details are reviewed, expectations are clarified, and nerves are replaced with excitement.

Meet ERICA and JACK!

They’re getting married this weekend and The Marry Men are thrilled to tell their story.

Erica and Jack first met during their second year at the University of Guelph. After a series of close encounters and hangouts with mutual acquaintances, Erica and Jack finally met and became quick friends.

“I found him funny, mature, and down to earth,” Erica recalls. “Super cliche, but I could tell he was ‘not like the other boys’.”

Within three months they had moved in with one another and embarked on an adventurous journey that has included a lot of travel, video gaming, and cats!

“We haven’t actually spent more than a few days away from each other,” Erica admitted. “Some people definitely would advise against doing everything that we did, but I think it made our bond stronger.”

After five years of dating and relationship building, Jack proposed to Erica on June 6th, 2024 on Flowerpot Island in Tobermory.

“As excited as I am for all the changes to come in our lives, I am even more excited that I know Erica will be a constant in my life throughout those changes.”

“I’m just excited that this is the person that I get to do everything with, first and forever!” Erica added.

Some weddings remind us that love is never just about two people.

This evening, at the beautiful , Tricia and Jason were surrounded by something beautiful, the unwavering love of family and friends. Their wedding, designed and orchestrated by .ca , was a reminder that the people who walk beside us through life become part of our love story too.

There was hardly a dry eye as we reflected on those who travelled great distances, overcame challenges, and defied the odds simply to be beside Tricia and Jason on one of the most important days of their lives. Their presence spoke volumes about the impact this couple has had on the people they love.

We also took time to honour those who could not be with us physically this evening. Though absent from the seats around us, their love was deeply felt in every word spoken, every embrace shared, and every tear shed. Their presence lived in the hearts of everyone gathered.

Tonight was a celebration of marriage, but it was equally a celebration of community, friendship, family, memory, and the enduring connections that shape our lives.

MARRY the person who commits to a lifetime of yard work. Because love is wonderful, but nothing says forever like someone who willingly signs up for grass cutting, leaf battles, and seasonal cleanup… for life.

Tonight at the breathtaking Sabrina and Monish celebrated the beginning of their next chapter surrounded by the people who love them most. From the perfect weather, to the stunning atmosphere, their outdoor ceremony was filled with joy, laughter, and emotion, every single moment felt unforgettable.

Sabrina and Monish, the way you look at one another says everything. A love rooted in friendship, adventure, trust, and the kind of connection that makes everyone around you believe in love just a little bit more.

Monish shared that Sabrina is not only his amazing partner, but also his best friend. Someone who loves adventures and always pushes him to try new things. Meanwhile, Sabrina describes Monish as fun, goofy, kind, generous, and someone who takes incredible care of his friends and family.

“Sabrina is the best,” Monish told us. “She just loves me.”

While Sabrina lovingly reminded everyone that Monish is “ridiculously smart, hardworking, reliable,” and someone you can always count on to get the job done.

What a beautiful reflection of two people who so clearly bring out the very best in one another.

To Sabrina and Monish, thank you for allowing us to witness such a beautiful celebration of your love story this evening. Another year of laughter. Another year of stories that somehow become even better every time you tell them. Another year around the sun with the guy who drives me completely nutty, but also makes me genuinely excited for every moment and every next chapter that continues to unfold for us.

You have this incredible way of making life interesting. You pour yourself fully into everything you set your mind to and everything you put your heart into. The people around you feel that every single day.

You have family who are so proud of you, colleagues who are inspired by you, friends who love you deeply, and a cat who seriously adores you beyond reason.

Thank you for being my partner, my constant source of laughter, my favourite storyteller, and the person I get to build this beautiful life with.

Here’s to another year of adventures, memories, chaos, joy, and all the little moments in between.

I love you to the moon and back!

Meet SABRINA and MONISH!

They’re getting married this weekend and The Marry Men are thrilled to tell their story.

Sabrina and Monish first crossed paths in 2016 during a summer retreat at McMaster University where students gathered to socialize and make plans for the year ahead.

“I saw Sabrina,” Monish recalls. “She was gorgeous and way out of my league.”

But she was definitely in his sphere of scientific influence. When they both started working at the McMaster Science Society office, a bond between them quickly developed.

“We seemed to hit it off,” Sabrina recalls.

Over the last ten years, they continued to experiment with dating until their post-secondary studies pulled them apart and prompted them to continue a long distance relationship.

“We are very much looking forward to the end of long distance and spending every day together,” Monish shared.

And they took a step on the journey to forever while on vacation in Hawaii in November 2024. Monish proposed to Sabrina after they enjoyed the sunrise from the summit of the Haleakala Volcano.

“We love to travel and try new things,”
Sabrina told us, “so I can’t wait to see what’s next for us!”

What’s next is a stop at the end of the aisle and for The Marry Men to get them to say “I Do!”
