Today I’m thankful for the families who continue to support this little business of mine, the kids who arrive ready to create, experiment and make a gigantic mess, and the fact that I get to keep dreaming up weird and wonderful things for them to make.

Bring your little pumpkin to TinkerLab’s Baby Art Crawl at Art Haven Cafe on October 19 and create a one-of-a-kind ghost handprint keepsake.

SAY YES TO MESS! at home:
3 Things to try with… Cranberries!

(Taste Safe!) Cranberry Slime
Mix together 1 cup of cranberry sauce, 1-1.5 cups corn starch. Stir the mixture together well and let your creators go wild. I like to add in a handful or two of real cranberries plus a couple sprigs of Rosemary for added play.

Turkey Boats
Oh no! The turkey needs to cross the water but turkeys aren’t exactly known for their swimming skills. Give your tinkerer a handful of cranberries and toothpicks and have them build a boat that floats and can safely carry a paper turkey across the water!

Cranberry Sensory Bin
Add fresh cranberries, rosemary and warm water to a large container. Toss in cups, scoops, spoons, and tongs.
*Cranberries are a choking hazard and not for young children.

Simple supplies + curious kids = TinkerLab at home.
