Let's talk rain plans...
We know, we know, you don't like to think about. We all envision a beautiful sunny day for our wedding but please trust us when we say, you NEED a rain plan. Your day will be much less stressful if you have your Plan B ready to go just in case.
A popular rain plan at The Knox is to have your guests come and take a seat at their reception table. You walk down an aisle in between tables and say your vows in front or the mantle and then kick things off right into the reception after!
Logistically this rain plan is beautiful because it avoids any room flips that would require your guests to leave the building (in the rain) and it doesn't require any changes to the reception setup you already completed the day before the wedding.
