and on another note… how many stages does it take to get my peony bed ready?? 3…. First we covered the grass to kill it, then we burnt what was left, then it was rototilled…until soft

next it will be treated to help rid us of those pesky farm weeds, then turned over and compost, etc added before being covered again to await my new peony roots coming this fall. Just like most things… it’s the prep that counts. And just like most things that prep is the hardest part.

Cuz when we use it close to the ground it’s a dripping hazard… and it was only a matter of time before it got me and yesterday it did.

Caught my foot and fell sort of into a metal post, scraped my hands and landed on my shoulder. ( which is already my bum one)

Anyhoo…. I’m fine, but I will NOT have the SHED open today or tomorrow so that my flower energy can be put into my custom orders. Sorry for any inconvenience 😞
