We're excited to welcome Jana Ross, a proud Métis woman from Meadow Lake, Saskatchewan. Jana has been an educator with the Northwest School Division for 15 years and has led the Gateway Middle School Métis Jigging Club for the past decade.

Today, she'll be joined by a few of her talented students as they take the stage to share the vibrant tradition of Métis jigging. Their performance is a celebration of culture, mentorship, and passing traditions on to the next generation.

We are excited to welcome the Creeland Dancers to this year's Multicultural Day celebration!

Celebrating over 42 years of sharing culture, the Creeland Dancers are a multi-generational Cree and Métis dance group from Beardy's & Okemasis Cree Nation. Through traditional and contemporary dance, storytelling, and cultural teachings, they have inspired audiences across Saskatchewan and beyond.

Their performances are more than entertainment—they are a celebration of Indigenous identity, culture, history, and the strength of our people. Their commitment to sharing knowledge and passing teachings on to future generations makes every performance a meaningful experience for all ages.

Join us as we come together to celebrate culture, community, and diversity. We look forward to welcoming the Creeland Dancers to Waters Edge Eco Lodge and sharing in this special day with everyone!
