The busy season is ALMOST behind us 😮‍💨 but truth be told, we love what we do so it makes us a little sad to be entering the low season in the new year.

Sirens & Sapphires Gala 2026. The inspiration for this years decor was enchanted, almost like walking into an overgrown mansion. I think we nailed it ❤️

I cannot thank my crew enough for all their hard work putting this together. Also, a shoutout to Joyous Occasions Decor & More Inc. for providing the black perimeter wall drape!

An event like this takes many MANY moving parts, and we honestly have the absolute best vendors on this team!!

Thank you to the Lloydminster Rescue Squad for trusting Applause Decor. It is such an honour ❤️❤️❤️

A few fav scenes from Wainwright Elks Hall today. A different configuration of hanging the ceiling in order to keep clear of the projector. A beautiful entrance tunnel with tiebacks made by the fabulous Jodi Holowaychuk as well as the photo backdrop with total antique “old money” vibes. And the cutest coffee bar using our reproduction antique mug rack, refreshment cart, and not pictured is our 100 cup coffee cambro!

Lashburn hall looking rustic and regal in this earthy color scheme

Love the look of floating candles but don’t want real flame? Here we used deco/water beads in cylinder vases and set flameless tealights on top. Way cheaper than the “flameless floating candles”, and looks beautiful!

I want to make a post about this book wall. I now have a love hate relationship with it. Unfortunately this item is a “one-hit-wonder”. It does not travel well, it survived the trip to its first appearance but sadly did not make it to its second without becoming beyond use (100% my fault, not the renters) 😢

However, that’s not “the end” of this idea. I am going to reevaluate and brainstorm ways to make this work. Even if it means assembling on site…maybe the books could be clipped on to a panel rather than permanently attached 🤔 or magnets?

Back to the drawing board, but for now, this item is unavailable for rent.

Preparations are in full swing for a busy week ahead! Ceiling going up in Marwayne hall along with a few rentals this week, then Friday morning we head to Lashburn to decorate a full wedding (including ceiling), then we head to Wainwright in the afternoon to decorate our third wedding of the weekend (also including ceiling). Safe to say our nice little break is over…and I love it ❤️
