My client reached out to me the week of her event because she needed help bringing her son’s first birthday setup to life.
During our call, she explained that her biggest concern wasn’t the supplies — she already had all the materials, including the backdrop. What overwhelmed her was the thought of having to tackle such a large balloon setup herself, especially with limited time and all the effort and skill required on the day of the event.
One thing that’s very important to me is getting on a call with my clients so I can truly understand their needs. I value alignment and making sure that not only are my clients receiving exactly what they need, but that I’m genuinely providing value to them as well. It should always feel mutually beneficial.
For her, the backdrop was such an important part of the celebration because it would be the centerpiece for all the photos and memories from the day. She wanted everything to look beautiful, but most importantly, she wanted a smooth and stress-free experience.
After we booked, she told me she felt, in her words, “like a burden had been lifted off me.” 🥹💕 That feeling alone is one of the most rewarding parts of what I do.
And transparently… even as a professional, I will always see little things I personally wish I could tweak or perfect. That’s just my passion and my own internal critique speaking. But the funny thing is — while I’m focused on those tiny details, my client was INCREDIBLY happy with the final result. 🤗
It’s a reminder that time, skill, and experience are so valuable. Because imagine spending hours trying to do it yourself, feeling stressed the entire time, only for the end result to feel disappointing. That’s time, energy, and money wasted 😩🫠
I always strive to work hard for my clients and create something beautiful, even within time limitations. To me, caring deeply about the quality of my work is just as important as the final product itself.
So thank you again to my client for trusting me, from design to colour palette changes to the overall ex*****on with a tight timeline. I’m beyond grateful to be a part of this special celebration and moreover that you and all your loved ones loved it!
