Southern Ontario Sno Drags has not completed its 2026 racing schedule as of this date , but mark these two dates down in your event calendar.

Well, the 2026 season is approaching quickly, and today we commenced with groomer maintenance. As you can see, our field hay at our Magnetawan Event property is not dry or in need of a water bomber. Yes, we will be cutting it. We look forward to seeing you all very soon.

SOS Drags - Southern Ontario Sno Drag Races will be updating their starting line lazer for the 2026 winter season. After the Horseshoe event and the softer snow conditions it was evident an update was needed to assist the racers and the race starter at the 4 lane starting line.The four following companies , Riverview Custom Cabinetry, Better Contracting, TXM Motorsports and Smart Screen Services have all again assisted SOS Drags in designing, manufacturing and purchasing all the required equipment to update our starting line with ski height Staging lights for our 2026 season . This warranted update to our system will be tested over the summer and will be a welcome addition for all races in 2026 .

Jeffrey Gagnon was the recipient of the Hellevation Elevated Traction Gift Certificate from last week's Hill Drags , at Horseshoe Valley Resort by Winning SOS Drags - Southern Ontario Sno Drag Races PRO MOD 800 on the Saturday race . SOS Drags would like to take this time to thank Hellevation Traction for supporting us from the being, looking forward to their continued support in the future.

This is the future of SOS Drags , as you can see the Jr racers had there own up hill race course at Horseshoe Valley Resort last week end for test and tune day along with both race days. This allowed the Jr to get comfortable with hill racing and also have double race time per race day when main hill course was being groomed .Our announcer turned the spectator and racers attention to them twice a day and they also had podium time with the adult racers , as it should be . This helps in building confidence in our youth.
