This week has been the week of red roses, love, ❤️🌹 ……….and me remembering why I do what I do.
This past weekend I was lucky enough to get to set up a simplistic, stunning wedding of all red roses. The venue, Cellar by Stella in St Jacobs, was incredible. And what a statement the couple made together.
Today, a gentleman came in to get red roses, for his missed, but not forgotten best friend in life, on what would have been their 47th wedding anniversary. Listening to his story, of his undying love, was such a beautiful thing.
And again today, another gentleman, someone who is a bit of a regular, but always purchases just a single red rose, finally gave me the story behind the red roses. Every time he is away from his wife of 36yrs for more than a day, he returns home with a single red rose.
And the whole point to me, is that the people matter more than the flowers…… the stories, the lives, the struggles and the happy moments. I’m so lucky to be part of all of them! And sometimes it doesn’t need to be a big show, just a little something, a single rose, to remind the people you love, that they matter.
