The Acadia Hall Recreation Club and Sackville Rivers Association are thrilled to invite you to join us for the 10th annual Sackville Duck Race!

This year our feathered friends will fly down the big Sackville River along the Bedford - Sackville Connector Greenway. You can cheer your ducks on from the trail, or join us at Acadia Park for a live stream of all the action. After the races, there will be an award presentation at Acadia Park along with lots of food, fun, and festivites!

Get your ducks through E-transfer to [email protected] or by visiting us EVERY SATURDAY at the Sackville Farmers Market.

Make sure to follow our page for more updates, and we'll see you on the 21st!

Celebrating 60 Years of Service to Our Community!
The Beaver Bank – Kinsac Volunteer Fire Fighters Association – Station 48 is celebrating 60 years of service and we want to invite the residents of our wonderful community of Beaver Bank & Kinsac to celebrate with us!
To celebrate your local fire department’s 60th Anniversary, we are inviting the public to an Open House at the fire station on Saturday, June 14th, 2025 from 10AM to 1 PM.
Come meet your local volunteer fire fighters, tour our fire station, and see the fire trucks.
We will also be having a free BBQ, face painting and a little something fun for the kids.

It gets even better, with the proceeds from the NS Fire Fighters 50/50 Raffle we are pleased to provide the residents of Beaver Bank and Kinsac the choice of either a smoke detector, a fire extinguisher, or a fire blanket for your household. We have 150 individual items to give away on a first come, first serve basis. All you have to do is show ID that you reside in Beaver Bank – Kinsac. (Please Note – 1 item of your choice per household – until supplies last!)

So save the date as we celebrate our 60th Anniversary.

This Weekend! The LDRA, Sackville Arena and Sackville Minor Hockey are making a big bid for some big renewal money for the rink!

Gateway Food Bank on Beaver Bank Road is need of some non perishables for Holiday packages...

We need your help this Christmas.

In under 2 weeks, we will be distributing Christmas Hampers to as many as 200 families, but we are still short on a few items. If your community group is able to help, please get in touch with us to let us know what's coming to the back door of 10 Beaverbank road, before noon on Tuesdays, Wednesdas, and Thursdays.

We still need:
100 boxes of cookies
150 stovetop stuffing
150 cranberry sauce
150 pancake mix
100 pancake syrup
50 boxes of cereal
