Reminder we are at Stonepickers Brewing Company tomorrow Saturday June 7th from 12:30-4:00 or whenever we run out of food! Come by for some tacos ($5.00) chili lime dip with tortillas chips ($6.00) or warm queso and chips ($5.00), fresh baked cookies ($1.00) or carrot cake with cream cheese icing ($5.00). CASH only or etransfer. Pulled pork is on the smoker!

I love it when our friends let us experiment on them trying to recreate the BEST tiramisu we’ve ever tasted in Portugal. We came close. Next attempt I think we’ll nail it!! Even better than the recipe I learned from my chef/teacher while interning in northern Italy in 1993.

Wow! What can we say! What a weekend! Insanely busy we thank you all for your amazing support and promotion! Our bodies are aching and no time to take a single photo all weekend but thanks to a friend for taking a photo while waiting in line lol!

Getting ready for the I ❤️ Beer and Taco show at RBC Place in London this weekend. Here’s a sneak peak of our menu! Layered chili lime dip, warm soft pretzels, tortilla chips and warm Queso, bacon wrapped jalapeño poppers, peanut butter squares, oatmeal raisin cookies and chocolate chip cookies. For tacos you’ll have 5 choices:
Beer battered fish taco with lettuce, mango avocado salsa and chili lime sauce. Beef brisket taco with caramelized onion, lettuce, guacamole, hot pepper rings (optional) and horseradish aioli. Carolina pulled pork taco with crunchy coleslaw, pickled red onions and lime aioli. Honey Bourbon barbecue burnt ends taco with crunchy coleslaw, pickled red onions and lime aioli. Vegetarian/Vegan taco with lime infused rice, black beans, caramelized onions, lettuce, grilled mushrooms, roasted red peppers, mango avocado salsa and lemon garlic aioli (shredded cheese optional).

Trying out some recipes for the I❤️ Beer and taco fest in March. Working on details of the tacos but also trying out some soft baked pretzels and bacon wrapped jalapeño poppers. Passed some around to neighbours and family to try and give feedback. Trying out cream cheese, bacon and green onions, a pulled pork jalapeño popper and one stuffed with Chorizo and cheese. Soft pretzels will have a better salt on them than what we had on hand for sampling and honey mustard or warm queso to dip in. We’re also trying out a cinnamon and brown sugar one with cream cheese icing for dipping. Stay tuned for the full menu.
