Hey everyone! We are still here!!

For those that were unaware, we have been supremely occupied with our new venture .oa at . If you haven't had a chance yet we are there every Thursday and Friday from 5, Saturday and Sunday from 12.

We are still going to be catering and doing events that we love! We have taken some time to get settled in our new home and we feel like we have started to get our footing.

Pictured is our menu item Bratwurst with spaetzle, braised cabbage and apple, house made mustard, apple butter and kraut served on plateware, always.

Recognized as a leader in the heritage grain movement, SHELLEY SPRUIT is appearing alongside a large panel of local farmers, chefs, distillers and brewers to answer all your questions and talk all things heritage grain. From farming and growth, to production and processing, to our hands and tables. Join the discussion on Sept 28th, 2pm

Shelley has a long relationship, diverse history, and serious passion for working with grain. For the last 30 years she has been a grain farmer, baker and chef, and ancient grain restorer and researcher.

Five years ago, concerned with the loss of agriculture biodiversity and seed availability for grains, Shelley began the venture that lead her to found Against the Grain Farms. With persistence, she worked to adapt ancient grains from around the world to the Ontario climate.

Shelley is the recipient of the 2018 Canadian Nuffield Scholarship.

The Chef's Table at Fanshawe College will be screening the film Before the Plate on Sat Sept 28th for FREE!!! 4:30 PM start time with a heritage grain popcorn tasting! We're all really excited for heritage grain weekend! There will be a 5 course dinner at the Chefs Table restaurant at Fanshawe college on Friday September 28th. The dinner will showcase some of the city's top culinary talents including this gem! Tim is everywhere right now it seems, and that is for a reason folks. Hope everyone is having a great weekend! Pictured here is one of our crowd favourites- pulled pork slider with coleslaw. Simple and delicious. We are confident in saying Kyle has really nailed down the pulled pork!

Big shout out to and for allowing us to cater the Junctions 5th birthday celebration! Great people and times.

I know we have been fairly quiet lately but trust us, we are hard at work on our exciting new adventure. Stay tuned!
