Today the Unmistakably You team pf planners and coordinators is weighing in on their thoughts, love it or leave it, on four of the predicted wedding trends for 2027.

Before we do, though, we always want to remind you that your wedding day is about you. It is not about the trends and if you want to incorporate one of these trends, do it your way. Any trend done well can be something amazing. Any trend done poorly can be not so good if it doesn't align with who you are and what matters to you....well one trend that we are happy to see going by the wayside with our couples is doing things just for "the gram".

Earlier this month we had the pleasure of celebrating the I Dos of Lisa and Connor in the unmistakably you studio.

When we were planning all the details of their day, they made it very clear that they wanted something simple and elegant, but centered around the people that mean the most to them: their friends and family.

They enjoyed a us in our Unmistakably You studio space, along with photography from , before returning home to a beautiful reception to finish out their day in an intimate and personal way.

I couldn't help but jump on the "kinda chic" trend in our graphics this week.

One thing that will never change, no matter what trends are in, is that our focus is always on your day being unmistakably you.

Do the things that matter to you. Create the experiences you want to share with your friends and family.
Do it for the people in your life that matter to you, not to impress strangers on the internet.
Remember that just because something's a tradition doesn't mean you have to do it.

Your wedding day is about you, your love, your story so make it feel like you in every single way.

Earlier this week along with trusted vendor partners, we had the pleasure of hosting Lisa and Connor with their family and friends to celebrate their love as they said, “I do,” in a midweek elopement ceremony in the Unmistakably You studio.

These two were focused on it being a day of family and friends, with simple beauty and memories they will cherish.

Congratulations again to Lisa and Connor! We wish you both all the happiness in your married life.
