La Rose Flowers is looking for a creative, reliable and highly organized individual to join our team.

Position: Part-Time Florist & Shop Manager
Hours: 21–35 hours per week
Locations: Komoka and London, Ontario

Responsibilities include:

• Designing fresh floral arrangements
• Managing daily shop operations
• Opening and closing the store
• Assisting customers and bridal clients
• Responding to phone, email and online inquiries
• Supporting wedding and event preparation
• Maintaining a clean, organized and beautiful shop
• Assisting with social media content
• Coordinating daily priorities and staff when needed

Requirements:

• A minimum of 1 year of professional floral design experience is required
• Strong customer-service and communication skills
• Dependable, punctual and highly organized
• Able to work independently and manage multiple priorities
• Available Fridays and Saturdays, especially during wedding season
• Reliable transportation and ability to work at either location
• Comfortable lifting floral buckets, supplies and event décor
• Availability during Valentine’s Day, Mother’s Day and the May–October wedding season

2. Choose inspiration photos featuring a similar hair colour, length, texture and skin tone so you can picture the result more accurately.

Some weddings stay with you long after the day is over, and this is one of them. 🤍

Seeing our bride wearing a gown we designed and handcrafted from the very first sketch to the final stitch is such a special feeling. Every piece of lace was chosen with care, and the soft chiffon was selected to move effortlessly with every step of her adventure.

Watching this dress come to life among the redwoods and along the coastline reminds me why I love creating wedding gowns. It is never just about the dress. It is about being a small part of one of the most meaningful days in someone’s life.
