M&C’s big day is just 2 days away!

Here’s what I do this week as their Day of Coordinator:

- Meet with Bride and Groom to finalize the schedule

- Send timeline to wedding party and parents to make sure they have an idea of what to expect

- Rehearsal (This will help the wedding party work out any kinks before the day of the wedding )

- Make care package for happy couple

- Pack my Day Of bag- water , extra shoes, snacks, bandaids, Tylenol, safety pins etc.

- DAY OF COORDINATION- organize vendors. Set up decor, and make sure the day goes off without a hitch.

- Help with any last minute details they need taken care of

I get it. Wedding dress shopping is one of the most exciting parts of the wedding planning process, but trust me when I say, don’t rush this process

So much can change during the months leading up to your wedding and visions change. Wedding dresses can be very costly so jumping on one of the first dresses you try on might not always be the best idea.

(I was the bride that bought one of the first dresses I tried on and 6 weeks before my wedding I changed my mind 🙃)

Saying Yes to the dress is an unforgettable experience so savour it, try on different styles, go out of your comfort zone. You might just surprise yourself 🤷🏻‍♀️!

When planning your wedding it’s okay to ignore the “rules.”

You don’t have to wear white.
You don’t have to have a wedding party
You don’t have to have cake or wedding favours
You don’t have to do anything that doesn’t feel right to you!

Wedding planning is stressful enough - trying to follow traditions that don’t feel authentic to you, will only make you feel more overwhelmed!

So take a breath, throw the “rules” and do what makes you and your partner happy!At the end of the day all that matters is you and the one you love.

A Day late , but here’s another Tuesday Tip for planning your wedding!
🖤 Remember Your Guests 🖤

Now , this is not to say plan your whole wedding around your guests, but, it’s important to be mindful of the people who will be in attendance at your wedding

- is the bathroom accessible for all your guests?
- do they have something to do during wedding photos I.e cocktail hour, lawn activities etc. ?
- what music are you playing?
- are there a lot of stairs for guests ?
- are there accommodation options for traveling guests?
- if you’re having a winter wedding, how many out of town guests will be affected by potential weather?

These are just a few things to keep in mind during your wedding planning process!
