We had our first wooden arch set up down in Boyd's Cove this past weekend, which framed this gorgeous backdrop perfectly!

I created two customized floral pieces with subtle hints of blue, ivory, pampas and lots of greenery to tie into the colors of the brides bouquet and the surrounding nature.

Our wooden arch measures approx. 7ft x 5.6ft, which is the perfect size to create a stunning focal point without taking away from those in front of it🤍

We accomplished our first wedding decorating event this weekend!🥂

From a beautiful outdoor ceremony on a stunning property, to an elegant & timeless reception at the international lounge at Gander airport.

The clients provided some of their own decor & custom pieces throughout both spaces, and some items were also provided by other local businesses.
We were so excited to showcase a lot of our new products & inventory that we have to offer!

Our beautiful vintage chaise is finally available to rent, after undergoing a major face lift over the last few months😍

I refinished all the wood on it myself and stained it a rich chestnut brown, and we had someone (who did an unbelievable job) reupholster it to this gorgeous velvety pesto green color!

Can you just imagine how elegant it is going to look at weddings?!

Our second event of the weekend was extra special as I got to bring my Aunt's 50th birthday dreams to life, while she is home from Alberta❤️

She went with our "Enchanted Garden Party" package
which is a tent package created for any smaller outdoor gatherings (birthdays, anniversaries, showers, etc) and can be done in any theme imaginable- she went with all things Lord of the Rings and The Hobbit🌿🍄✨️

After a bit of research and lots of information from the LoTR's expert herself😆, I was so pleased with how everything came together. The atmosphere was so magical, cozy and fun!

My aunt picked all the pretty flowers right from the garden, which we featured throughout in the decor🌸

Another busy weekend for Occasions🤍

Event #1 was a balloon arch set up to celebrate a beautiful bride to be! Her theme was "something blue before I do", so we tied in several different shades of blue balloons with accents of white, and added in lots of pretty florals💙

This event also included a set up of our 20'x20' marquee tent, featuring one of our new chandelier options that can be used in the tents!

Custom lobster themed balloon arch for my Pop's 82nd Birthday last weekend!🦞💙
I tried an ombre technique with the balloons to mimic the depths of the ocean at the bottom, with the balloons gradually getting lighter farther up the arch.

Finished with white balloons on top to represent whitecaps on top of the waves🌊 and netting to hold in one of the lobsters lol.

This was a trial experiment for me with working with latex balloons outdoors in the summer heat. Although the arch was inside a tent, the extreme heat outside still caused a fair amount of shrinkage to the balloons throughout the day and the balloons were visibly oxidized.

I will not be promoting outdoor balloon set ups on HOT summer days or doing any in direct sunlight due to those reasons, but upon request we can work with clients to do set ups inside tents if the temperature outside allows!
