👏 Meet Paul Kingsmith, Director, Event Development
Paul moved to Lethbridge in 2005 for a job opportunity, and has called the city home after meeting his wife and starting a family here!
Joining the Excite team in March 2023, a moment that stands out to Paul is seeing a full grandstand and a sold out Rodeo at last year’s event. Highlighting how it shows the spirit of the community and what the team has been able to build.
What Paul values the most about working at Excite is the commitment to the community. Through the events, Paul believes the team has had the opportunity to enhance the quality of life for people in the city and bring everyone together. By bringing people to the city and helping support local businesses, he is certain the team has the city’s best interest at its core. 🤝
Paul enjoys coming to work everyday because of the people on the team, who are some of the most creative, hardest working, skilled and fun employees he’s had the chance to work with.
A fun fact about Paul is he’s played hockey since he could walk, and he still plays today. He mentions that his teammates may question the ‘talent’ part, but he was once awarded fastest skater in minor hockey! 🏒
We’re grateful to have to Paul on the team and we can’t wait to see all the events he’ll help bring to life!
