ANNOUNCEMENT: After owning Marquis Flower Shop for the past nine years I have decided to retire from the business world. Now I am prepared to golf, scrapbook or simply hold down the couch and learn all about operating a TV remote! LOL

MORE EXCITING NEWS: I have found a new owner for the Marquis Flower Shop business and property! The new owners wish to carry on the current legacy and simply remain known as “Marquis Flower Shop”. That means you will be able to continue to shop the “Marquis” at the same location and with no interruption of business.

Marquis Flower Shop has been delivering flower love and hugs for our customers since 1931. That is 94 years and counting! I am excited the “Shop” will keep going and, with your continued support, may be able to reach it’s 100th anniversary in the City of Lethbridge.

At 94 years old, Marquis Flower Shop continues to stand alone in carrying on business in the City of Lethbridge with the “Marquis” namesake. Marquis Flower Shop commenced business operations in the downtown iconic Marquis Hotel building in 1931. Unfortunately the Marquis Hotel building was shut down and demolished circa 1985.

Thank you to the City of Lethbridge and the Royal Canadian Legion Lethbridge Branch for giving Marquis Flower Shop the honor of designing a wreath for your memorial service for Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II on September 19, 2022

Thank you Galt Museum & Archives and Lethbridge Herald for your recent article "History of the Marquis Flower Shop". This year marks 85 years that Marquis Flower Shop has been in business in Lethbridge!! We would not have been able to reach this milestone without the support of our customers. Our heartfelt thank you to all of you!

“Say It With Flowers” was the Marquis Flower Shop’s motto. It was one of many flower shops in Lethbridge’s history that provided an array of beautiful and unique flower arrangements for Mother’s Day, Easter, Valentine’s Day, weddings or any other memorable celebration.
