We are saddened to report the passing of Rob Christie yesterday. Rob was one of the first employees of Mersey Productions. He was one of the original 2 Mad Gardens’ bouncers. He was a permanent fixture at the door at virtually every Mersey show from 1980-1988. He continued to work for Tony at the ticket business until his retirement in 2020. Rob was a very close member of the Placebo family for 45 years. He is survived by his wife Robin, daughter Tana, and grandson Michael.
We love you Rob. You will be missed. RIP.
