Today is Winterfest, presented by L&A CPA LLP.

You’re invited to celebrate Family Day at Winterfest from 10am-3pm today at several City facilities, including the Servus Sports Centre Lloydminster Golf and Curling Centre, Lloydminster Museum + Archives, the Bioclean Aquatic Centre and the Cenovus Energy Hub where you can try para hockey from 1 to 3pm. To participate you’ll need a helmet, gloves and warm footwear. Sleds and equipment will be provided. There are also outdoor activities at Bud Miller All Seasons Park including horse-drawn wagon rides.

Admission is free, including free public swimming from noon to 3pm at the Bioclean Aquatic Centre. You’re encouraged to check the schedule, as activities vary by location.

The Servus Sports Centre will be a hub of activity, with public skating, bounce houses, a 360º photo booth, carnival games, a mechanical bull, pedal go-carts and live music from Ernestine Hatpin and the Prairie Dogs.
