We've recently welcomed Trinity Village's Adult Day Program to St. Matthews, and we're so pleased to have them here on Tuesdays!

The program offers older adults a morning of activities, creativity and social time, while also providing valuable respite for care partners.

And judging by the beautiful fall watercolour artwork they've been creating, they're off to a colourful start!

Their Outreach and Mobile Hamper Programs are collecting much-needed supplies for individuals and families in our community.

Have something to contribute? St. Matthews is one of their donation drop-off locations!

The Elora Singers… with bluegrass? Yes please.

On October 3, The Elora Singers are back at St. Matthews — and this time they’re bringing The Barrel Boys with them!

Expect an evening that sounds a little different: incredible choral voices mixed with the energy of live bluegrass, with music rooted in Appalachian sounds, gospel traditions and music from Canada’s shores.

The program also features Jake Runestad’s Mountain Songs, bringing these two very different ensembles together for what should be a pretty fantastic night in the Sanctuary.

We have a new daytime program coming to St. Matthews!

Beginning in October, we’re excited to welcome Trinity Village’s Adult Day Program.

The program offers adults 55+ living with chronic illness, physical disability or memory loss a chance to get out, meet people and enjoy the day together.

And there’s lots happening while they’re here — music and singing, games, crafts, exercise, storytelling, special guests and more.

The program also gives care partners some time for themselves, knowing their loved one is spending the day in a safe and engaging environment.

We’re looking forward to seeing a few more familiar faces around St. Matthews each week and welcoming the Trinity Village team to the building!

Turn up the sound for this one! There is something new for weddings & events at St. Matthews!

We’re really excited about a new partnership with the Kitchener-Waterloo Symphony that opens up some wonderful possibilities for live music at St. Matthews.

Couples and event hosts can now incorporate professional musicians into their day...whether that’s a single musician, a quartet, or a larger ensemble.

There are lots of options:

Piano
Our Casavant organ, played by St. Matthews’ Music Director
A solo orchestral musician
A string quartet
Or musicians and instruments from across the orchestra

It could be music for a walk down the aisle, during a ceremony, over cocktails, or simply a favourite piece you’d love to hear performed live.

With the acoustics of our Sanctuary, live music can create some pretty special moments.

This Wednesday is the first St. Matthews Presents for Fall 2026!

Join us this Wednesday for an hour of Celtic and folk music featuring Glen Soulis on penny whistle and Scott Knarr on organ. The concert is then followed by a hearty soup lunch with homemade bread.
