Amherstview Lions Club

Amherstview Lions Club The Amherstview Lions Club serves Amhestview which is part of Loyalist Township. In addition, the Lions distribute gift cards for groceries at Christmas.

The Lions provide a Santa Claus Parade, a Food Bank and Meals on Wheels for residents.

Did you know? The Amherstview Lions Club donated $500 to the 1st Amherstview/Bath Scouts on Monday, May 4th at the Amherstview Community Hall. Those funds came from Play! Gaming and Entertainment in Kingston. On Monday, the Lions were treated to great excitement among the Beavers because with those funds the Beavers knew that they would participate in upcoming events for the Beavers.

Now here is something to talk about! This is a huge shout out to Play! Gaming and Entertainment for funding $28,050 for the Amherstview Lions Christmas Hampers. 155 families received those hampers at Christmas. Haapppyyyy New Year! Thank You, Thank You, and Thank You again to Play! Gaming and Entertainment for funding. That funding contributed to Coats for Community Kingston! In 2024 new and gently used clothing were donated to keep 1,300 community members warm. As donations were received volunteers sorted and distributed those donations to agencies throughout KFL&A. Thank you, thank you and thank you again to Play! Gaming and Entertainment! The generous assistance of the gaming centre has been beneficial to the Amherstview Lions Christmas Hampers. 155 families with 146 children received groceries for Christmas this year! That’s 416 individuals who had the advantage of those groceries from the Amherstview Lions Christmas Hamper Campaign. The Lions’ hearts are bursting with pride! Be sure and visit soon!
