Late August is beyond glorious in the flower beds. The perennial garden is overflowing with abundance. The annual bed is exploding with new blooms each day. Summer's end feels dangerously close for us Easterners as we all scramble to squeeze out every last drop of adventure and sunshine. "Where did the summer go?" We hear it year after year. The fleeting months of warmth and late evening sunsets whiz by far too quickly. This year, instead of finding ourselves wanting, get outdoors, and fill your final days of August with whatever brings you joy! Maybe a wander amongst the flowers here at Riverbend is on the bucket list. 😉
