My work studio is my home away from home - however it’s free of the clutter and mess from my kids, the never ending dirty laundry and dishes and the chaos that comes with being a mom to three boys. It’s my getaway & oasis from the everyday where I can be creative and just be me. Classic Creations wedding season officially starts in exactly 2 months and I am getting excited to be back in here regularly creating flowers for weddings, sipping lots of tea (sometimes coffee, sometimes wine), listening to my favourite music, laughing/chatting/procrastinating with studio mate , and just getting to be creative & do what I love...

We elevated this classic design by using multiple varieties of roses in shades of pink, pink mauve, blush, cream & white and by adding ranunculus, lisianthus and a hint of seeded eucalyptus. Happy LOVE Day to you all! I felt that this special bouquet was perfect to share today, as I created it for my best friend on her wedding day. 25 Days of Bridal Bouquets - Day 6
A stunning bouquet of peonies in shades of white, blush and soft pink, for this beautiful Hollywood glam winery wedding.

A challenging part of being a wedding florist, is the lack of control of the product and flowers that we order and receive. We depend on our amazing wholesalers and local growers to be able to source, produce and provide all the floral products we use. Sometimes things don’t go as planned and items don’t come in. We are left scrambling to figure out an alternative, which has to be the most stressful part of being a wedding florist. Our original design for this stunning bouquet ( and all the other flowers) included dramatic panda anemones, which sadly we found out last minute wouldn’t be available. After a bit of panic as so much of the design was based on those anemones, we chatted with our sweet bride and ended up subbing in additional peonies into every piece as a replacement. Sometimes the original idea doesn’t turn out, but we always try our best to create something just as or even more beautiful.
