I've always felt that this shooting/editing style brings out the most intimacy and feeling in my photographs; my absolute goal. I want you to feel what you felt in that moment when you look back at your photographs. I've devoted the last 11 years to capturing one of the most special days of someone'

s life, and after photographing well over 200 weddings, I've got to say I'm more addicted now than ever. Joelsview Photography is based out of Kelowna in the Okanagan Valley and currently travelling Canada wide capturing love and connection in the intimacy of moody light!

You know those wild moments in life where you can’t help but think that the universe had its hands in making it happen.. well this was one of those moments.
Years ago, as Christie and Seiyifa were driving by this random view point, Christie had mentioned that this is where she wanted to get married.
Fast forward 3 years down the road, these two said I do in a church.. but as they gave me complete free range to choose their photo location anywhere in the Okanagan, I chose that very spot without knowing anything about what she had said. I could feel the excitement growing as we drove closer and closer to the destination and the awe when we realized it was the same spot. 3 years later things have come full circle to these photos! ✨

Safe to say that the moment I saw her veil flowing like the waterfall, I knew we had made the right location choice! ✨

Winter love in the Rockies ❄️🗻

I’m beyond grateful to have wrapped up the busiest fall since Joelsview Photography has started! From an alpaca themed prairie wedding, to magical golden hours in the Okanagan. From lush Vancouver forests, to the Rockies after a snowfall. I am beyond thankful for it all, especially through what we’re all dealing with. One thing is for sure, love isn’t cancelled, and I can’t thank you all enough for trusting me to capture that! 💙
