Shedding Skins & Embracing New Beginningsā
Nearly a decade ago, I met my sonās girlfriendānow his incredible wife and the mother of my precious new grandson. She was working at the Royal Ontario Museum, teaching kids about snakes, and naturally, I ended up with this beauty draped around my neck. That day, I knew she was the perfect match for my sweet scientist son.
Fast forward to today, and Iāve been lucky enough to not only welcome her into our family but also to officiate their wedding. And now, theyāve stepped into a whole new chapterāparenthood. Time flies, and looking at this photo, I realize just how many skins Iāve shed over the years. Life has a way of transforming us, one experience at a time.
2024 was a year of immense challenges, but like the snake, Iāve emerged from it renewed. 2025 feels like a fresh start, and Iām embracing it with open armsāready for love, laughter, and new beginnings. Iām ready to gracefully shed old limitations and embrace new beginnings and emerge stronger and wiser with each challenge!
