Something blue doesn’t have to mean a blue garter tucked away under your dress.

Your flowers can be such a beautiful way to incorporate the tradition while still making it feel completely your own.

A few delicate blooms tucked into your bouquet. Blue woven through your centrepieces. A statement floral installation. Or even just the smallest unexpected pop of colour.

There are so many beautiful ways to make your something blue feel intentional rather than like an afterthought.

And if you’re drawn to blue, don’t be afraid to lean into it. It can be soft and romantic, bold and unexpected, or somewhere beautifully in between.

Because traditions are even better when you make them your own.

There will always be another wedding trend to try, another beautiful colour palette to save, and another décor idea making its way around Pinterest.

But one thing I hope never gets lost in all of that?
The guest experience.

Because your wedding isn’t just something your guests look at. It’s something they experience.

Can they comfortably move through the space?
Is there somewhere to sit and take a break?
Is the timeline giving them time to actually enjoy the celebration?
Can they easily find the bar, the washrooms, their table, or the ceremony space?

Those details might not make it onto your Pinterest board, but they can make a huge difference in how your wedding feels.

& I think that’s what thoughtful planning and design should be about.

Creating something beautiful, yes.
But creating an experience that feels welcoming, comfortable, and intentional, too 🤍

Flowers can be beautiful all on their own, but they become even more special when they’re thoughtfully designed around the space.

I think there’s a misconception that an “elevated” wedding means adding more.

More flowers. More décor. More details. More of everything.

But, I think the most beautiful weddings are often the ones where every detail has been considered, and nothing feels like it was added just to fill a space.

A cohesive design. Beautiful lighting. A little breathing room. Thoughtful guest experiences. A few details that really make an impact.

It’s not necessarily about spending more. It’s about being intentional with what you choose.

Because when everything works together, the result feels effortless.
And that’s what makes a wedding feel truly elevated 🤍

There’s actually a lot more to choosing your wedding tables than just figuring out how many people you need to seat.

The shape and size of your tables can change the entire feel of your reception. They affect how your guests move through the space, how much room there is at each place setting, how your centrepieces fit, and how easily everyone can actually chat and enjoy the evening.

And then there’s the fun part: deciding how you want them to look.

Long banquet tables, classic rounds, a mix of shapes, curved configurations, beautiful florals running through the centre... there are so many ways to make your reception feel intentional and completely your own.

There isn’t one “right” table setup. It really comes down to your venue, your guest count, your plans for the meal, and the experience you want to create.

Because the best floor plan isn’t just one that fits everyone.

It’s not about filling every corner with décor.

It’s about choosing pieces that work together, support the overall design, and help create the feeling you want your guests to experience.
