We’re seeing the teddy bear-themed baby shower trending in a big way right now, which isn’t surprising as it includes modern decor that we love, including big and bold balloon garland, “boho” elements, and shades of browns + creams.

The base colors for most teddy bear baby showers are browns mixed with lighter neutrals like creams and tans. These colors also work well for the trendy “boho” feel to any themed shower.

With this color scheme, you can mix in any accent colors to make it unique to mama-to-be.

Decorating for a teddy bear baby shower is so much fun. It’s truly the most adorable baby shower theme because it’s whimsical and will always be a classic. Here are some options of the decor I can offer:

1- Welcome sign and an easel
You’ll want to include entrance decor or a welcome sign to greet your guests as they walk through the door. This is usually the first place guests will see the teddy bear theme.
Oftentimes, this area is decorated with beautiful balloon garland with a giant teddy bear greeting guests. This space can also double as a photoshoot backdrop for guests and the mama-to-be.

2– Mix the teddy bear decor with flowers for your centerpieces.I love to mix brown and cream flowers to the table to accent the teddy bear cake and the cuddly bears.

3- Include floating teddy bears throughout the baby shower.
Floating teddy bears may be my favorite way to decorate a teddy bear baby shower. I can either tie a small teddy bear to the bottom of balloon chandeliers filled with helium, or the Teddy Bear can be sitting in a hot air balloon basket

4 – I can create a stunning backdrop for the mama-to-be with balloon garland.
Balloon garland is one of the biggest baby shower trends that we are continuing to see into 2023.
It’s the perfect backdrop for the expectant mom to sit in front of while opening gifts, so add a chair and some extra accents to make it the perfect space.
