Planning your wedding Should be FUN!
Here are some sure fire ways to make it a more enjoyable and relaxed experience
✨ Hire a planner!
The more we plan the less you have to stress about, it’s just facts. Wether it’s full planning or event management having a professional on board takes a lot of the stress and load off you so you can enjoy the fun parts
✨ Mission statements! I know they can sound corny or canned from corporate but for your wedding this is a guiding light. Compare planning decisions and the time and effort you are putting into certain things to this statement. It makes it a lot easier to say no to what doesn’t align without getting swept up in wedding culture
✨ Say “no thank you”. It’s sweet that your friends and family want to help give you ideas, it’s also totally okay to say no to anything that doesn’t fit your vibe. You are not required to make them happy, they can have their own wedding.
✨ Don’t take it too seriously. I’m a fun and relaxed kind of gal, and I approach wedding planning with the same vibes. Remind yourself this isn’t the be all end all, and no one is going to remember your napkin fold in 10 years. They Will remember if they spent the whole night on the dance floor so put your energy where it matters to you.
