One of our few peony blooms this year 🥰

Did you know it takes at least 3 years for peonies to really establish themselves? This beauty (along with her sisters) are on year one, so it'll be another 2 years before we really are able to start using them as cut flowers!

Quick harvest this morning 🤗

- 15 eggs so far (technically 16 but our little man got a bit too excited about one and dropped it😅)
- 6 cups of goats milk
- red russian kale for our dinner tonight
- chamomile, mint, lemon balm, and oregano to be dried for teas and seasonings (and one piece of dill my daughter just had to bring in 😁)

We said goodbye to our four oldest bucklings this weekend (all headed to loving homes!) and as the does had not quite fully weaned the wee bairns, we are doing some milking to ease the process. The boys were ready to go though, and I feel like I can feel the ease of our does now that the rowdiness has subsided.

We still have Larks little one who will need another 2 months or so with mama before we make a decision on what to do with him!

The herbs are loving the moisture we have gotten!

Chamomile is almost in bloom, and we should have garlic scapes soon, but currently, we have aromatic, home grown, organic oregano, sage, and lemon balm ready to be harvested! ($3/bunch 🤗)

The tomatoes are in!

We may be a week early, but the weather is looking pretty good and sometimes you have to get it done while you can, and at 38 weeks pregnant I want as many plants in the ground before baby arrives 🤭

We have about 240 tomatoes in the ground and 20 tomatilllos. We will be putting about another 40 tiny tim tomatoes in pots in the next week or so as well!

If you are still in need of tomatoes plants, let us know - we are down to our last 7 beefsteak and are sold out of our san marzanos but still have plenty of roma, yellow pear, chocolate cherry and tiny tims available! Individual seedlings are $3 or you can get 2 seedlings (mix and match as you like) for $5🤗

Greens coming along swell, even in this spring heat!

We will be excited to offer veggies very shortly 🥰 featured here we have kale, cabbage, and broccoli getting ready! We will also have spinach, radishes, mixed greens coming up, as well as lots of herbs. We currently have sage, oregano, and lemon balm ready to be harvested, and our chamomile is about a week away 🤗
