FROM GROUND ZERO - An invitation to a film screening –
From Ground Zero: Stories from Gaza
"Powerful. Deeply moving. Difficult. Heartbreaking. Poignant. Breathtaking. Inspiring".
These are the words that have been used by people who viewed the documentary, From Ground Zero: Stories from Gaza. The documentary is a collection of short films by 22 Palestinian filmmakers who tell the untold stories of the daily lives of the people of Gaza living in the midst of the current war.
Friday, April 11 – 7:00 pm
Metro Hub – 1265 Ellis Street, Kelowna
Doors open at 6:30 p.m.
Tickets can be purchased in advance on Eventbrite or at the door.

Following the screening, the Palestinian producer, Rashid Masharawi will be zoomed in for a question and answer.

The screening is hosted by Amnesty International Okanagan,
CJPME:Okanagan, Central Okanagan United Church and Okanagan College Faculty Association.
