Things are slowly opening up again!!! I had the great pleasure of “officiating from the rear” at a truly beautiful wedding on the water in Carleton Place.

I love helping couple have them wedding of their dreams. I particularly love when I can help them have the close friend or family member they really want to do the ceremony be the one up front doing it!!

The Vatican won’t bless you.....but I will! I can even use the same service book they’d use....it’s on my bookshelf from my seminary days.

The Congregation for the Doctrine of the Faith clarified that the Church has no power to bless same-sex unions.

I can’t believe this needs to be said but I welcome all couples regardless of identity, expression, religious beliefs, lack of religious beliefs, or political affiliation.
...I will even marry couples that put pineapple on pizza.

Given the current COVID-19 situation effective immediately I am making the following changes:

1- Any couple who needs to change their wedding date can do so without penalty (subject to availability)

2- I will not meet face to face with anyone due to social distancing.

3- I will not be booking new weddings (to ensure I have dates available for couples that need to move their date)
