We wanted to create something different.
Something that brings people out from behind screens and back into real moments.

The First Spark Project is a collaboration between .co and where two strangers are thoughtfully matched and invited into a curated first date experience.

We design the setting.
We create the atmosphere.

And the moment they meet is captured naturally, exactly as it unfolds.

If you have seen this online, you may recognize it from what people are calling “stranger sessions” on TikTok. We loved the idea of bringing that here in a way that feels more intentional and personal.

We have also opened this up to include Ashcroft, Kamloops, and everywhere in between.

Applications are free and open now.
Submissions close April 15.
Those selected will be notified May 1.

And we will say it honestly, we are still looking for more men to apply.

Today is the day we finally launch something we have been quietly working on behind the scenes.

The First Spark Project.

A collaboration between timber + toast and Bosley Lens & Co.

Two strangers will be thoughtfully matched and invited into a curated first date experience here in Kamloops.

A romantic setting designed by Timber & Toast, with the very first moment they meet captured naturally by Bosley Lens & Co.

No pressure. No expectations. Just a beautiful moment where something real might begin.

Entering is completely free, though this experience normally starts at $50 for the entry fee.

Applications close April 15 and selected participants will be notified May 1.
