Discover Healing Below the Iceberg is a 9-day, experiential Satir Transformational Systemic Therapy (STST) Level I training designed for counsellors, therapists, and helping professionals who want to support deeper, more sustainable transformation with their clients.

This training goes beyond techniques and tools. It focuses on the whole human system, including internal experience, relational patterns, family of origin, and the therapeutic presence of the practitioner themselves.

Led by international trainer and author Jennifer Nagel, the program blends experiential learning, live demonstrations, small-group practice, and structured exercises, with real integration between sessions.

Participants gain practical skills they can apply immediately with individuals, couples, and families, while also experiencing meaningful personal and professional growth.

We’re pleased to share that the Satir Transformational Systemic Therapy (STST) Level I training has been approved for Continuing Education Credits through the Canadian Counselling & Psychotherapy Association (CCPA).
This 9-day, in-person training runs across three weekends
February 20–22, March 13–15, and April 24–26, 2026
in Kamloops, BC, and is facilitated by international trainer and author Jennifer Nagel, MA, RCC.

STST Level I is a deeply experiential program designed for counsellors, therapists, and other helping professionals who want to support meaningful, lasting change with individuals, couples, and families. The training integrates experiential processes, systemic work, and current neurobiological research, with a strong emphasis on therapist congruence, safety, and transformation at the root level, not just symptom management.
Participants will engage in live demonstrations, small group work, structured exercises, and triad practice between sessions to integrate learning at both a personal and professional level.

As helping professionals, we’re trained to listen carefully, reflect insight, and support our clients in understanding their thoughts, emotions, and behaviours. And yet, many of us notice the same thing over time: insight alone doesn’t always lead to lasting change.

Clients may understand why they react the way they do, recognize long-standing patterns, and even practice new skills, yet still find themselves returning to the same struggles. When that happens, it’s often not a lack of motivation or effort. It’s because the work hasn’t yet reached what lives beneath the surface.

The Satir Transformational Systemic Therapy Model invites therapists to work with the whole human system, including internal experiences, relational dynamics, family of origin patterns, and the deep yearnings that drive behaviour. Rather than focusing only on coping strategies or symptom reduction, this approach supports transformation by creating safety, connection, and access to internal resources.

Discover Healing Below the Iceberg is a 9-day experiential Level I training designed for counsellors and helping professionals who want to deepen their clinical work and support meaningful, lasting change with individuals, couples, and families.

At this event, you’ll meet people who want to find you, not a random name from a directory.
