From the very beginning, Happy Occasions has been about so much more than planning events and creating beautiful celebrations. ❤️
One of my biggest goals when starting this business was to create opportunities to bring local businesses together, showcase the incredible talent we have right here in Kamloops, and build a community where we genuinely support one another.
I’ve always believed that there’s room for everyone to succeed. Every business brings something unique to the table, and I think there’s something really special about choosing to celebrate those differences rather than compete with them.
Over the years, I’ve had the opportunity to meet, work alongside, and build friendships with some truly wonderful local business owners. Those connections have become one of my favourite parts of what I do.
As Happy Occasions continues to grow, I want to continue building meaningful relationships with people who share those same values. People who cheer each other on, speak kindly of one another, celebrate each other’s wins, and understand that supporting another business doesn’t take away from their own success.
When people think of Happy Occasions, I hope they think of more than beautiful celebrations. I hope they think of a business that genuinely supports its community, celebrates the success of others, and believes that we all have something special to bring to the table.
Because to me, community will always be greater than competition. ❤️
