Some things are made to be admired before they’re enjoyed. 🌿✨
I ordered these exquisite botanical creations for my parents’ 50th anniversary — congratulations J&L! ❤️ — and they were even more beautiful in person.
My dad genuinely thought I had brought him a floral arrangement. When I told him we were actually going to eat them, he was completely shocked. 😂
Every flower, every petal, every little botanical detail is edible art. They have that rare quality where you almost hesitate to disturb something so beautiful… and then you take a bite and discover they’re every bit as delicious as they are stunning. 🌸
This is the kind of artistry that makes an occasion memorable. A wedding table, an anniversary, a celebration, a milestone — or simply an excuse to surround yourself with beautiful things.
And the best part? This beautiful work is being created right here in our own Innisfail community.

Somewhere between the forest and the water, she became something more than a girl in a gown…
She became a creature of the wild. ✨
A river spirit.

SHE WAS NEVER MEANT FOR AN ORDINARY WEDDING GOWN. 🖤💜
There was something wild about this one.
A gown born of deep violet and softened lavender, its colours fading like twilight across the moors. Beneath the flowing layers of sheer tulle, embroidered flowers drift like things gathered from a forgotten garden — delicate against the darkness, yet refusing to be tamed.
And there, beside the rushing river and ancient evergreens, the gown seemed to belong exactly where it was found.
Romantic. Untamed. A little haunted.
A bride, a wild river, and a gown made for a love story that could never have been ordinary.

SHE DIDN’T WANT A WHITE WEDDING GOWN… SHE WANTED ENCHANTMENT. 🖤💜✨

And so, Gothic Enchantment was born.

Custom made for our bride, this captivating gown begins in rich, romantic purple before melting into a luminous ombré that deepens and softens as it flows through the silhouette.

The skirt blooms into layers of airy tulle, scattered with delicate floral embroidery that seems to float across the fabric like wildflowers in a midnight garden. 🌙🌸

With every movement, the sheer tulle catches the light, revealing flashes of purple beneath the embroidered florals and creating an almost ethereal, spellbound effect.

Dark romance. Dreamy florals. A gown that feels like a fairytale after midnight.

🧡 National Day for Truth and Reconciliation
Today, I wear orange in remembrance of the children who were taken from their families, and in honour of the survivors who carried those experiences home with them.
For my family, these aren't stories found only in history books. We had residential school survivors in our family. Their experiences were talked about, remembered and carried through the generations. Those stories became part of what we knew—and part of what we were taught.
I tell my children what I know because I believe remembering is part of reconciliation. I want them to carry those memories and lessons with them throughout their lives, so that the truth isn't lost with the generations who lived it.
As a Métis woman, a mother, and a designer, I understand that culture, knowledge and memory are things we carry forward through what we teach, what we create and what we choose not to forget.
Truth requires us to remember.
Reconciliation requires us to listen, learn and carry that truth forward.
Today, I remember the children.
I honour the survivors.
And I carry the stories forward.
