In May, a young woman I watched grow up married the woman she loves. I was lucky enough to be asked to alter both bridal gowns and 5 of the 8 bridesmaids dresses. About us

I grew up sewing. Not wedding gowns and grad dresses, of course. But doll clothing and pillows, then clothing, then my own grad dress. Then I attended Olds College Fashion Merchandising and Production program with a Production Major. I love working on more challenging items! Then I left school and worked for a bridal shop in Calgary, both selling dresses and managing the alterations department. When I moved to Innisfail, I worked in Red Deer at a bridal salon. Then I chose to start my family. I started to take piece work from the seamstress the salon used. Then I just took on my own clients. I have been in the bridal industry for over 26 year, and have been sewing for much longer than that. I also possess a business license from the County of Red Deer. I love working with Brides and grads to help them achieve the perfect fit for their dresses for their special day!!
