Getting prepared for full blown wedding season means I need to get some other things out of the way. This weekends first item to be checked off is Christmas stockings made from a beloved Grandpas shirts.

It's my slower season for formal wear right now. I have a few winter weddings to work on, but my most recent project was making these cushions out of a granpas shirts. They measure 18" square. I hope the granddaughter loves them

Sometimes the bride wants the groom to have a pocket square that's an exact match for her gown. Often, there isnt enough for a complete square of fabric, but with a few hidden tricks, a pocket square can be made!

Tyrra got married in May. She sent me a few photos of her day with a little note "Had to share a few photos and thank you for being so amazing."
I love it when the brides take the time to let me know how their day went!

Life has been busy, time has passed. My Daughter married their partner in October, and then Christmas came and went. Now I'm back in wedding mode helping brides get their dresses just right and grads have been booking in. Be sure to contact your seamstress sooner than later to secure a spot!

In May, a young woman I watched grow up married the woman she loves. I was lucky enough to be asked to alter both bridal gowns and 5 of the 8 bridesmaids dresses. When the bride I have known since she was 6 left she said to me "I feel like you have altered me through so many stages of life." It means so much she keeps coming back. Love is Love
