It makes us SO happy when the universe, God, & Mother Nature conspire in our bride’s favor so that her grandfather’s lilac bush is in perfect bloom on the day of her Wedding!

We were able to add beautiful fresh cut lilacs to fragrant stock, delicate ranunculus, and beautiful lisianthus for our bride, Alex. 😍🪻

If you received Mother’s Day flowers, here is your reminder to freshen up the water! Simply tip the vase over and empty into your sink. Then, find an opening and refill with fresh water.
Start to watch for blooms that are finished and pull them out to keep your other blooms lasting longer. And over the next week, as the arrangement dwindles, you may have a few longer lasting blooms that you can pull out and place in a smaller budvase to fully enjoy. 🌷💐🌻

Glorious Life Soap is handcrafted locally (hot processed), pure vegan, made with all natural ingredients!
No preservatives, detergents, dyes, no added gluten, artificial colours or fragrances. Just herbs, spices, and essential oils.

These Natural soaps contain olive, coconut, sunflower, canola oil, castor oil, and shea butter.

We carry the following scents in store & online:

•LAVENDER (The fresh floral scent of lavender, with the very gentle exfoliation of chamomile flower)

•FOREST FRESH (Scented with the essential oil of conifers. A woodsy bar that’s not too masculine and very fresh.)

•EUCALYPTUS MINT (The fresh scent of eucalyptus with peppermint leaves)

Thank you is the only word I can seem to come up with after the busiest week of our year as florists. 💐💗
Thank you to my team who really pulled through not just our busy week of Mother’s Day orders, but we handled important funeral orders and a beautiful wedding as well. Early mornings and late nights, and we got the work done and beautifully. 💕

We are grateful for a few extra helpers. You know who you are. We managed so much better because of your help. Thank you! 🚛💐

And to all of our wonderful, supportive and very patient customers, the biggest thank you for trusting us to send something beautiful that conveys your love and care.

Our Story

The Village Green Flower Shop hasn’t been around for a while, but it previously served the area for many years. Elise, along with her parents who owned the shop in Morrisburg, made the difficult decision in 2004 to close the shop due to changing family needs at the time. Several years later with children grown, Elise decided it was time to revive the classic name of the shop which had served the area for generations with excellent customer service, and superb quality and value.

Elise is a talented and skilled designer whose main focus is on serving the community around her. She strives to create arrangements that speak for the heart of the sender. It’s more than about making pretty flower arrangements—it’s about connecting with people and helping them convey thoughts and emotions at some of the most significant moments of people’s lives whether it be the arrival of a new baby into our world, or a celebration of a life well lived. Flowers are for the grand moments we celebrate like weddings and anniversaries, and graduations, new homes or jobs, or to send to the friend who is struggling with life and needs a little pick me up, or the grandparent who feels lonely and needs to know someone thinks of them even when they can’t be near. Life is full of moments, and flowers convey so much when we want to reach out and say ‘thanks’, ‘I care’, ‘I love you’, ‘I grieve with you’, or ‘I celebrate with you’.

Our delivery area includes Ingleside, Long Sault, Cornwall, Finch, Avonmore, Chesterville, Wi******er, Williamsburg, Morrisburg, Iroquois and all areas in between.
